Majorca by Leah from Hull

Leah from the Hull Branch has the opportunity to sample Majorca, these is her blog on he vist.

I flew with Jet2 from Leeds Bradford airport to Palma airport. The flight duration was 2 hours, 45 minutes. Whilst in Leeds Bradford airport, we were invited into the Yorkshire Lounge which offers a wide variety of food as well as all of your drinks (including a choice of alcoholic and soft drinks). The first hotel that I stayed in was the Iberostar Selection Albufera Park in Playa De Muro. This is an ideal hotel for families with family-based entertainment such as Disney themed evening entertainment and bingo. However, they also have entertainment for the adults such as cocktail making classes and a market with homemade items being sold inside the hotel. There were 4 pools including a children's pool and a children's aqua park. There is the option to upgrade to the Star Prestige level which gives guests extra benefits. Being a Star Prestige guest allows access to a private rooftop pool and upgraded rooms.

National Travel Agents Day

Today is National Travel Agent Day, it is a day when we recognise all the hard work of travel agents.

So many people ask 'Why use a travel agent', firstly they know where to look for the holidays, from a package holiday or bespoke. They look after all the booking details and make sure they are correct. Holidays are financailly protected, this is often the part a lot of people don't understand, as they say I booked on my credit card. The credit card only covers each part of your holiday and will only assist if you the company goes into liquidation. There is no other assistance. When you are financially protected with us it that all your holiday is covered so if your hotel closes down and we coiuldn't get you your money back.

Leah Booth has joined our Hull branch direct from Wilberforce College after finishing her level 3 BTEC in Travel and Tourism. Leah is training, learning the systems and supporting her senior team members. However, she couldn’t resist helping a customer with an Orlando booking and creating them a bespoke package and has now achieved her first sale.
Leah is already well travelled visiting places such as Orlando, New York, Mauritius and Dominican Republic.
