Kerkyra in Corfu:
Why not take a stroll through this elegant island capital and enjoy the remaining architectural sights (others were destroyed during the war by bombing). Here you can see two massive forts, the sixteenth-century church of Ayios Syridhon and buildings dating from French and British administrations remain intact. Kerkya is a major port of entry for visitors of Corfu so it’s peak season is often during Summertime.
Melissani Cave in Kefallonia:
Wanting to escape from the busier places in Greece? Take a boat trip to the underwater Melissani Cave and gaze upon the rock formations as the light passes through the stones.
Chapel of Metamorfosis at Dhikeos Peak in Kos:
You may have to hike up the 846 meter climb to see this, but once there you are rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the island. The chapel itself dates from the 15th- 16th century and allows you to rest yourself after the long climb.
