For this blog entry we thought it would be particularly useful to give our readers an insight of how it feels to be a customer of Andrew Earle’s, the trip they took themselves and a review of the entire process. We spoke to one of our regular customers and covered a trip they had never taken before. The couple visited us in August 2014 and booked a trip to Amsterdam for 5 nights in October the same year. This was a surprise birthday present for one of the party members so therefore we undertook a careful process to make the trip a delight.
Humberside Airport
The customer had asked to fly locally if possible- luckily our closest airport Humberside flies KLM twice a day to Amsterdam direct. We gave the client advice that when arriving at Schiphol there was a train station directly within the airport that would take them to the center in 20 minutes.
Customer’s response to Humberside Airport:
‘Really nice airport- not busy, booked in very easily and put straight through the gate. The departure lounge was small with plenty of seats as it was the only flight leaving that day’.
NH Amsterdam Centre:
A 3* hotel located in the center of Amsterdam. This hotel is one of our ‘best value’ for money hotels as it puts you in the heart of the city without stretching your purse too much. The hotel itself has been tried and tested by our staff and we therefore recommend it on a personal basis.
One of our members of staff had printed out directions for the hotel and given extra advice on museums and excursions. The directions were simple to follow and meant the customers could make the most of their five-day trip.
Customer’s response to hotel:
‘Everything was walk able. Where we were there were little café bars straight outside the hotel, which seemed very popular with local Dutch people. Going at the beginning of October the weather was particularly mild so we didn’t have to dress for winter’
