The Beginners guide to Travelling

Safety in Booking:

We’ve all been there, that daunting moment whether you trust the online website’s guide price for a holiday to later discover all isn’t as it seems. Did you know most of these online travel websites have terms and conditions that make the user (you) agree to price fluxing and this can often add a significant amount of money onto your holiday. Well this is one way online booking can go wrong.


Here at Andrew Earle’s not only do we ensure the best quality holiday at the best price but we make sure that our customers are all involved in the holiday planning. This can differ from choosing a destination, to a hotel (and our recommended places to stay) to being given suggestions on the location itself. What we can offer in the travel community is the support and care that you will need throughout your trip. This includes a 24 hour emergency telephone number (find me a travel website that can give you (in form of a person on the other end of the line) and I’ll buy you a cake).

So in short one of the biggest tips we can give you as part of the ‘Beginners guide to Travelling’ is to book with an agent you can trust. I can’t stress enough that it is much easier to deal with any enquiries/problems if you know that you can walk into a store and talk to people face to face.

Know your Destination:

There are a lot of things you should know as travellers when leaving the UK. For example, does your destination require vaccinations? Or do you need a VISA? These are small things that can slip your mind in the excitement of booking your dream holiday. We can ensure that these things are handled for you and you can travel with ease. Furthermore, onto the more exciting part of travelling… All of our staff are specialists in certain destinations of travel. This ensures that wherever you want to go we can offer some personal advice on where to eat/stay/visit at the best possible prices.

Packing for your Trip:

There is a lot to be said about packing correctly for your destination. Whether this means keeping to the luggage allowance restrictions (which are always made aware to our customers) or making sure you have put your medication in your hand luggage with a doctor’s note… we can offer advice.
