Each island has its own individual charm with island hopping the best way to explore, whether a day trip to or splitting your stay between the inner granite islands or exotic island hideaway resorts.
Inner Island – This is the second biggest island best known for its beaches, Praslin has a rustic charm and also boasts an 18 hole championship golf course and fascinating flora and birdlife. La Digue is a picture postcard of turquoise waters, diamond white beaches and has a relaxed vibe, it is a Robinson Crusoe experience.
Mahe – Home to the capital city Victoria this group of islands boast over 60 beaches and coves. There are plenty of waterfalls, jungle mountain walks and stunning viewpoints waiting to be discovered and a whole host of activities to be enjoyed from rock climbing to sea kayaking and scuba diving.
Outer Islands – The pristine miniature worlds of the Seychelles outer islands offers untouched habitats for many species of wildlife along with snorkelling, sailing and fishing. Bird Island is a fascinating slice of paradise and is home to populations of tropical birds and is rich in marine life with Hawksbill, Green Turtles, dolphins and even the occasional whales – perfect for nature lovers.
