Ever since a certain Thomas Cook starting selling the package holiday towards the end of the 19th century travel agents have existed to help the tour operators sell their “wares”. Many people seem to be under the impression that since the birth of the internet there is no longer a place for a high street travel agent.
The reality is that there has never been more of a need for such a role as peoples holiday expectations rise and their itineraries become increasingly more complex.
At Andrew Earles’ we know that for many people its an enjoyable challenge sourcing and arranging your own holiday on the internet and is probably the reason you are now reading this, but not everything in this world runs to plan. Things change, things go wrong and what may have seemed the best option because it was seemingly cheapest at the time soon becomes an expensive flop through no fault of your own. Flights get cancelled, car hire depot’s run out of cars, hoteliers cancel rooms, you may get ill and all of things can cost you money and of course waste your precious holiday time.
It might seem a far fetched scenario but it does happen and turns your world upside down.
